10 Year Old Justin

I was diagnosed 12/31/96 and was 8 years old. I gave shots and checked my blood sugar for 1 1/2 years, and found out about the pump from my doctor Dr. Anderson. I really like not having to go into a bathroom to give my shots before every meal. The pump is basically the 2nd best thing besides a cure for a diabetic. Ever since I was diagnosed, I went to the diabetes walk in Atlanta and raised money for the A.D.A [American Diabetes Association] to hopefully help to find a cure.
